Father and Son, The Afterlife... and Dreams!

A father, in the afterlife, dreams of his son who is sad about his passing, so he decides to embark on a journey and recover as many memories as possible to appear in his son's dream as well, reassuring him that he is still close to him.

Synopsis

In a completely white prairie, which exudes purity and surrealism, lies the protagonist, thinking about what he dreamed just before. A melancholy dream in which he saw his Son, discouraged by his disappearance.  

After a while, he decides to get up and face a long journey, going to the distant Tower of Dreams, to find out if it is possible to meet him again. Here he discovers that he needs to recover lost memories, in order to embark on a dreamlike journey that will take it to him. 

These memories are stored in the Library of Memories, along with all the memories of other souls from The Afterlife. After exhausting searches in the immense library, he manages to regain possession of his lost memories and to reconcile for a short time with his son, in a dimension poised between The World and The Beyond... a Dream.

Academic thesis carried out at: Accademia di Belle Arti Santagiulia, Brescia, Italy.

The thesis is focused on the concept of "Videogame Minimalism".

It includes a general study of  the Minimalism in the various artistic disciplines and an in-depth study of it, applied in the videogame scenario. Furthermore, the thesis includes the develop of a Videogame Concept Trailer that implements its characteristics.
